Bergeron Scholar

I was raised in a small town called Cloverdale a few hours north of the Bay Area. My STEM interests include computer graphics, game design, and image manipulation. I also find the interactions between humans and computers fascinating. Outside of school, my main interest is participating in role playing games by creating stories or entering into stories created by others.

“NERDS has helped prepare me for the professional world. Through NERDS, I have created a polished LinkedIn page, found a network of other peers who share similar academic interests as me, and gotten my foot in the door for an tech internship. Through NERDS, I not only know more about the tech industry I'll be entering into, but under the guidance of my mentor from the Bergeron Scholars program I was also able to obtain my first tech internship. And, perhaps the most valuable thing I've gained from NERDS is a confidence in my abilities even though I will be a minority in the tech industry I'll be entering.
